There's a Finger for THAT!! Hold Your Ring Finger!!
Often Grief and Sadness are overwhelming - it's important to acknowledge these emotions, and holding your ring finger can help process through a difficult time.
You can hold either ring finger in its entirety for as long as you would like. Or, some other suggestions are:
Hold each knuckle individually from the base of your finger to the tip (from side to side, or front to back)
Hold each intercostal space of your finger from the base to the tip (same- side and side or front and back)
Use your 9 conscious breaths with each hold
By the way, holding your Ring Finger helps with breathing (good if your New Year's Resolution is a cardiac activity!). Just tuck your ring fingernail under your thumb pad on each hand and move along!
